This is a humble endeavor to express some of the activities and devotional services of Her Grace Krishnamayi Mataji who left her body on January 08, 2022.

H.G. Krishnamayi Mataji was very educated with few master degrees. Her main profession was in Urban Planning & Engineering. She did her higher education in France and was fluent in both French and English languages.

Before she became a devotee, she traveled to Jaipur-India on a group tour and as an artist was fascinated by the beauty of the construction and artwork of the Jaipur wonders. Also she was very well versed in Persian Sufi poets literature and had a spiritual background.

She came to know about Krishna consciousness through her devotee friends and became serious in Krishna consciousness. She took diksha initiation from Srila Sripad Maharaj sometime in the year 1991-92.

Her second initiation took place in Radha Kunda and Guru Maharaj was performing the fire yajna.

With her husband, Brighupati Prabhu, she contributed her time in translating and editing Srila Prabhupada and Srila Sripada Maharaj’s books into Farsi.

Their main contributions are:  Bhagavad Gita as it is, Life Comes from Life, Science of Self Realization, Series of monthly back to godhead magazine, Srimad Bhagavatam first canto up to seventh chapter, Vaisnava Song book and Life and it’s Origin by Dr. T. D. Singh (Guru Maharaj).

Her moral and devotional contribution to the devotee community is so much so that she was loved like a mother and Guru.

She visited Vrindavan-India many times and on one occasion she joined the Barsana Eye Care Camp and assisted them in their project by doing deity worship.

Her care for Brajabasis was so much that she sponsored three Nitya Seva Prasadam distribution in the memory of her Late Father & Mother and one for herself on the occasion of the day that she came to know about Krishna consciousness and these sevas will continue eternally.

She sponsored one room in Srinivas Acharya Ashram in Radhakunda with the desire in her heart that there will be a memory of Iranian devotees, who served Guru Maharaj, in the holy Dham of Radhakunda.  Also she contributed considerable amount of donation for the construction of the new Temple of Gopalji in Sri Navadvip Dham.

She is such a devotee that one gets inspired by her devotion, sincerity, loving and caring mood.

I feel myself very fortunate to know such an exalted devotee of Guru Maharaj and Lord Krishna.  Her sweet memory will stay with us forever.

I pray for her safe journey Back Home, Back to Godhead, may she  continue her services at the Lotus feet of Sripad Maharaj.
